Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lario website at lario.app and our AI photo-to-video generation services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Description of Service

Lario provides an AI-powered tool that converts uploaded photos into short videos with natural motion. The Service is available through a freemium model with free and paid tiers.

Account Registration

• You need an account to use the video generation service.
• You can sign up using Google OAuth or email.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.

Free and Paid Plans

Free Tier

• free videos for new users after sign-up
• Generated videos are 6 seconds long
• All videos are watermark-free

Paid Plans

• Lario offers monthly and annual subscription plans, plus one-time credit packs for additional generations.
• Current plan tiers, pricing, and per-plan credit allowances are listed on our pricing page.
• Subscriptions include the same generation quality and watermark-free output as the Free Tier.
• Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle.
• Paid plans are processed by Creem as merchant of record (MoR), in USD.

Acceptable Use

Lario explicitly prohibits the generation of NSFW, explicit, or sexually suggestive content. You agree not to:

• Upload or generate sexually explicit, NSFW, or adult content
• Upload or generate content depicting minors in any sexual or suggestive context
• Upload photos of minors without parental consent
• Upload photos that contain illegal, harmful, or violent content
• Upload photos of real persons (including public figures, celebrities, or politicians) without their explicit consent
• Generate deepfake, face-swap, face-manipulation, or face-replacement content
• Generate content that promotes hate speech, harassment, illegal activities, or violence
• Upload photos that infringe on third-party copyrights or intellectual property
• Use the Service to spread misinformation or political propaganda
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our AI models or systems
• Use automated tools to bulk-generate videos beyond normal usage
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures

Content Ownership

• Your Photos: You retain full ownership of photos you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload and process these photos.
• Generated Videos: Videos generated from your photos are yours to use, subject to your plan terms. All Lario videos are delivered without a watermark.
• Commercial Use: Videos generated on paid plans may be used for commercial purposes.

Service Architecture

Lario AI is an independent product that provides a custom interface for third-party AI video generation models. Lario is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the underlying model providers. We provide the user interface, content moderation, billing, and service infrastructure, while the actual video generation is performed by external AI providers (collectively referred to as "AI Providers").

We may change AI Providers, model versions, or technical parameters at any time without notice, provided service quality is maintained at substantially the same level.

Content Processing

• Uploaded photos are processed by third-party AI services to generate videos.
• Photos are automatically deleted within 24 hours after processing.
• We do not use your photos to train AI models.

Refund Policy

• Credit packages are non-refundable once delivered.
• First-time subscriptions may be refunded within 3 days if the account has used no more than 50 credits in the current billing cycle.
• Subscription renewals (any charge after the original first-time purchase) are not eligible for refund.
• A processing fee of up to 6% may be deducted from approved refunds.
• No refunds for accounts terminated for content policy violations.

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation prevents future charges. Already paid subscription fees are non-refundable except where eligible under the Refund Policy above.
• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Service Availability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
• Video generation times may vary based on server load.

Termination

• To delete your account, email support@lario.app. We process deletion requests within 30 days. Account data, generated videos, and uploaded photos are removed.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lario shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Disclaimer

The AI-generated videos may not always produce desired results. We do not guarantee specific output quality, style, or accuracy of motion effects.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or on-site notice.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
