    Refund Policy

    Lario's refund policy for paid subscriptions and credit packages

    Overview

    Lario AI is a digital service. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be issued for paid subscriptions and credit packages.

    This policy applies to all paid subscriptions and credit packages. Free trial usage (including any free credits granted to eligible new users on sign-up) is not eligible for monetary refund.

    Refund Eligibility

    Credit Packages — Non-Refundable

    Add-on credit packages (the one-time top-up packs) are non-refundable once the credits have been delivered to your account. Credits are issued instantly on payment and the purchase is final.

    If credits were paid for but not delivered to your account due to a system error, contact support@lario.app and we will deliver the missing credits or issue a refund through the original payment channel.

    Subscriptions — 3-Day Window With Usage Cap

    A first-time subscription purchase (any plan, monthly or annual) may be refunded only if all of the following are true:

    • The request is submitted within 3 days of the original subscription charge
    • No more than 50 credits have been used on the account in the current billing cycle (50 credits ≈ 5 videos)
    • No content policy violations have occurred on the account
    • This is the first refund request for the account

    Subscription renewals (any charge after the original first-time purchase) are not eligible under this rule. To stop future renewals, cancel from your account settings before the next billing date.

    Processing Fee

    A processing fee of up to 6% of the refunded amount may be deducted to cover payment-network and platform costs. The exact fee is shown when your refund is approved.

    Non-Refundable Situations

    Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

    • Credit package purchases (see above)
    • Subscription requests submitted after the 3-day window
    • Subscription requests where the account has used more than 50 credits in the current billing cycle
    • Subscription renewals (any charge after the original first-time purchase)
    • The account has been suspended or terminated for content policy violations (see Terms of Service)
    • The user has violated our Acceptable Use policy, including generation of NSFW, deepfake, or other prohibited content
    • Annual subscriptions are not refundable on a per-month basis after the 3-day window — no prorated refunds for unused months

    How to Request a Refund

    Refunds are not self-service. Email support@lario.app with:

    • The account email used to subscribe
    • The order reference (visible in the email receipt from our payment provider)
    • A short reason for the refund request

    We will review the request manually within 3 business days. If approved, the refund is issued through the original payment channel and unused credits from the refunded order are clawed back from your balance (capped at the credits originally granted by that order — your balance will not go negative).

    Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation:

    • Prevents future charges: No further billing occurs
    • Keeps your subscription active until the end of the current billing cycle: You retain full access to paid plan features until the cycle ends
    • Does not refund the current cycle: Already-paid subscription fees for the current cycle are not refunded; the cycle simply runs to its scheduled end

    If you wish to cancel AND request a refund of the current cycle, follow the 3-Day Window above (the cancellation does not extend the 3-day window).

    Payment Disputes

    For any payment-related question or dispute, please contact us at support@lario.app first. Most issues can be resolved within 3 business days. Filing a chargeback before contacting support may result in suspension of the account.

    Payment Processing

    Paid plans are processed by Creem as merchant of record (MoR). All approved refunds are issued through the same payment channel as the original transaction. Bank settlement times vary (typically 3–10 business days after refund approval).
