    Refund Policy

    Lario's refund policy for paid plans, video credits, and subscriptions

    Overview

    Lario AI is a digital service. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be issued for paid subscriptions and video quota.

    This policy applies once paid checkout becomes available. Free trial usage (including the 2 free videos for new users after sign-up) is not eligible for monetary refund.

    Refund Eligibility

    7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

    First-time paid subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial subscription purchase, provided that:

    • The request is submitted within 7 days of the original transaction
    • The account has consumed less than half of the monthly video quota
    • No content policy violations have occurred on the account

    To request a refund within this window, email support@lario.app with your account email and order reference. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

    Refunds After 7 Days

    Refund requests submitted after the 7-day window are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Typical scenarios that may qualify:

    • Service Failure: If the Service is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours, you may request a prorated refund for the affected billing period.
    • Technical Errors: If video quota is consumed but no video is generated due to a system error on our side, the quota will be automatically restored. If the error cannot be resolved, a partial refund may be issued.

    Non-Refundable Situations

    Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

    • The 7-day window has passed and no service-failure or technical-error reason applies
    • The account has been suspended or terminated for content policy violations (see Terms of Service)
    • The user has violated our Acceptable Use policy, including generation of NSFW, deepfake, or other prohibited content
    • The user requests a refund of unused video quota on the basis of "I changed my mind" (please cancel before the next billing cycle instead)

    Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation:

    • Prevents future charges: No further billing occurs
    • Keeps your subscription active until the end of the current billing cycle: You retain full access to paid plan features until the cycle ends
    • Does not refund the current cycle: Already-paid subscription fees for the current cycle are not refunded; the cycle simply runs to its scheduled end

    If you wish to cancel AND request a refund of the current cycle, follow the 7-Day Money-Back process above.

    Payment Disputes

    For any payment-related question or dispute, please contact us at support@lario.app first. Most issues can be resolved within 3 business days.

    Payment Processing

    Paid plans will be processed by Creem as merchant of record (MoR) once paid checkout is available. All refunds will be issued through the same payment channel as the original transaction. Bank settlement times vary (typically 3–10 business days after refund approval).
