Content Policy

Overview

Lario AI is committed to safe, ethical, and compliant AI video generation. By using our service, you agree to follow this Content Policy. Violations may result in immediate generation block, content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban — with no refund.

This policy applies to all uploaded photos and all generated videos, regardless of whether they are downloaded, shared, or kept private.

Prohibited Content

Lario explicitly prohibits the generation or upload of any of the following. This is not an exhaustive list — when in doubt, do not generate.

Sexual and Adult Content

• Sexually explicit, NSFW, or pornographic imagery (whether realistic, cartoon, anime, or illustrated)
• Sexually suggestive content of any kind
• Nudity or partial nudity in sexual context
• Any depiction of minors in sexual or suggestive context (zero tolerance — this is also illegal)

Identity and Likeness

• Photos of real persons (including public figures, celebrities, politicians, influencers) without their explicit consent
• Deepfake, face-swap, face-manipulation, or face-replacement content — regardless of subject
• Generation that imitates a specific real person's likeness, voice (in audio sense), or identity to deceive viewers
• Content that violates any individual's right of publicity or privacy

Minors

• Photos of minors uploaded without verifiable parental consent
• Any content depicting minors in unsafe, exploitative, or sexualized context — zero tolerance
• Content that targets, harasses, or endangers minors

Violence, Hate, and Harassment

• Content depicting graphic violence, gore, or torture
• Content promoting hate speech, discrimination, or bigotry against any group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Content used to harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully individuals or groups
• Content promoting or glorifying terrorism, extremism, or violence

Illegal Activities

• Content depicting or promoting illegal activities (drug use, weapons trafficking, human trafficking, etc.)
• Content used for fraud, scams, identity theft, or financial crimes
• Content infringing third-party copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property
• Content violating applicable laws in your jurisdiction or ours

Misinformation and Manipulation

• Content used to spread political propaganda, disinformation, or misleading narratives
• Content depicting events that did not occur (especially involving real people, places, or events)
• Content used to defame, slander, or damage the reputation of others
• Content used to manipulate elections, public discourse, or critical decisions

Platform Abuse

• Automated bulk generation beyond fair use
• Reverse-engineering Lario's AI systems or models
• Reselling or redistributing the Service without authorization
• Circumventing usage limits, rate limits, or security measures

Enforcement

Detection

Lario relies on a combination of provider-side safeguards (built into the AI model providers we use), user reports, and admin moderation to enforce this policy. Additional automated screening may be introduced over time. Detection may occur:

• Provider safeguards — the underlying AI model providers may refuse to generate certain content
• User reports — any user can report violating content via support@lario.app
• Admin moderation review — administrators may review reported or suspected content and take action

Consequences

Violations result in one or more of the following actions, at our discretion:

1. Immediate generation block — the request is rejected and credits may or may not be refunded depending on the violation
2. Content removal — the violating uploaded image and/or generated video is permanently deleted from our storage
3. Account suspension — temporary or permanent ban from the Service
4. No refund — accounts terminated for content violations are not eligible for refunds
5. Legal reporting — for illegal content (especially CSAM and terrorism-related), we cooperate with law enforcement and report as required by applicable law

Audit Records

When content is removed for policy violations, we retain audit records (including SHA-256 fingerprints of the violating content, the timestamp, and the moderator action) for security, compliance, and dispute resolution. The violating content itself is permanently deleted; only the audit metadata is retained.

Reporting Violations

To report content that violates this policy, email support@lario.app with:

• A description of the violation
• The URL or video ID if available
• The reason you believe it violates this policy

We aim to respond within 3 business days.

Updates

We may update this Content Policy at any time as our service evolves and as legal requirements change. Material updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
